(CAPF AC) CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) EXAMINATION

Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination for filling up of various posts in different departments/organizations. The details of the examination are as follows:

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Eligibility: Nationality A candidate must be unmarried and must be Citizen of India.

Age: 20-25 years

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

» UPSC CAPF Selection Process consists of three broad stages – the Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test and the Interview / Personality Test. Candidates must crack each step of the selection process in order to be recruited as Assistant Commandant.

» Candidates have to initially appear for the CAPF Exam conducted in offline mode in two sessions, The Paper I (objective) and Paper II (subjective). The candidates who clear this stage qualify to the next stage of UPSC CAPF Selection Process (PET).

» The qualified candidates in PET are then called for the personality test (interview) where they are interview by a panel of 3-4 judges with high professional and technical knowledge. The candidates who fill the DAF (Detailed Application Form) and download the e-summon letter in time are allowed to come for the interview.

» Final Selection/ Merit: The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/ Personality Test.
